The integrated aizo dSID high-voltage chip marks a first, providing so much functionality within a form factor that only just became
technologically feasible: remote-controlled RMS dimming and switching of electrical appliances up to 120 watts without a choke or
external snubber circuit, in a tiny package, with negligible heat loss. The patented digitalSTROM® protocol uses regular 230V wiring
as a communication bus to link switches, sensors and electrical appliances – ideal for “smart homes”. Existing electrical installations
require no extra cables; new installations can be completed at considerably less expense. The aizo dSID chip tucks away inside any
appliance, power outlet or wall switch. The dSID chip facilitates a digitally controlled electrical installation with no extra effort. digital-
STROM® provides ultimate ease of operation, with low power consumption. Every chip has a globally unique address for communicating
over the power cable – indispensable for today’s power management.
