DIGIcontrol-DV16 is not just a standalone multi-channel digital video recording device for providing high-quality real-time digital video recorded images. It also works as a digital video network server. 

With up to 8 DIGIcontrol-DV16 and up 4 DIGIlock-VJ340 video workstation licences for PC-based viewing and control you can make up a multi-server total digital video network system with recording and live viewing of up to 128 remote cameras via LAN/WAN.

Its architecture takes full advantages of network communication structure to eliminate the need for camera coaxial cables to the monitoring station. This sets a new standard to provide a cost-effective, flexible, reliable and high performance digital CCTV system solution.

With it’s enhanced hardware configuration, DIGIcontrol-DV16 is capable of providing 4 real-time recording and transmission channels as well as 5 audio recording cannels.

16 PAL composite video Input channels can be recorded with a maximum speed of 100 frames /sec. Three resolutions with either 192x244, 384x288 or 640x480 can be selected to record with wavelet or MPEG-4 compression.

A programmable timer allows user to programme different recording schedule patterns at different times for each camera.

Recording capacity is variable according to the video compression ratio, frame rate, resolution and number of cameras being recorded. The unit will provide an average of 24 hours of high-resolution recording on 16 cameras at max frame rate based on a 8GB hard disk. The average frame size at high resolution (384x288) is 2.5kB.

The recording speed can be configured for each camera input  in 12 steps between 25 to 1/60 frame per second.

16 alarm inputs as well as video motion detection triggers allow flexible configuration for pre- and post-alarm recording of alarm images with adjustable time frame setting.

 Video recorded can be played back by camera event or in time and date for video search. Recording and playback function of the unit can be executed simultaneously. The captured image or selected part of the zoomed image can be directly printed with any Windows compatible printer or saved to a floppy disk.

The built-in multiplexer display modes can show full, quad, 7-split, 10-split, 13-split or 16split camera display. An optional dual display card for dual operation features the possibility to have one monitor for video display, recording and normal operation while the other unit is used for playback purpose.

The system is supplied as fully configured 19” rack W2000 PC with per installed ready to run application Software.
